i'm benji a.k.a toyserval! i'm a primarily digital artist who draws pieces catering to the furry fandom. i love drawing candy gore, big cats, bubble tea, and colorful pieces!likes: studio ghibli films, pop/indie music, cats, rainbow/bright colors, monstera plants/leaves, bubble tea, good vibes only!

  • i currently announce commission openings primarily on instagram and twitter!!

  • $5+ patrons get first dibs at commission slots available. the rest of the slots will go to the public afterwards. check out my patreon page shown on the homepage!

  • i sell characters and adoptable on instagram, patreon, and on toyhou.se!

  • commissions are not first come first serve. i usually open a google form for commissions (for 48-72 hours) and will pick the requests that interest me the most!!

Please read through these terms before commissioning me. by commissioning me you agree to the following terms!!

general

  • prices are in usd and payments are taken through paypal invoices. i require full payment before the commission is to be started unless otherwise stated.

  • prices can increase based on the complexity of your character (markings, wings, etc.)! please keep this in mind. after you send your commission request and i accept it, i will send you a quote for your specific commission and you can determine whether it's within your budget or not.

  • you may be granted a refund if the commission hasn't been started or if i am unable to finish the commission. please message me or email me privately to discuss a refund.

  • please do not ask for a refund as soon as you commission me. i am not a bank you can put $$ into and then take out when you need to!! thank you.

  • i may refuse your commission request for any reason.

  • you are allowed to post your finished commission with credit on social media (instagram, twitter, etc.)! please do not forget to credit me for my work.

  • i will only do edits to the sketch/lineart of the piece and not after shading unless the edit is important (missing marking, accessory, etc.)!

  • no artwork of mine commission or not may be made into an nft!

commission process

  • please provide a clear digital reference sheet for your commission request to be considered. i will not work with traditional refs, i'm sorry!!

  • i will provide sketches/wips when i have them available.

  • please do not ask for updates constantly. i get very stressed out by this and i always provide wips and progress pics once they are available!! and i always await approval before continuing onward to another step (like sketching > lining)!!

commission subjects

  • i will not draw nsfw artwork, please do not ask!!

  • no kink/fetish work.

  • i will draw almost any species. i usually work with canines, felines, and similar species but i can work with others as well! if you'd like to see if i can work with your specific oc's species before commissioning me, feel free to message me privately on instagram/twitter to ask!

  • no hate speech or homophobic, transphobic, racist artwork.

general

  • i require all adopts and designs to be uploaded to toyhou.se! toyhou.se is a website where you can upload your characters, their artwork, build worlds for them, etc. and is very helpful for saving your art of your character!! it also helps me keep track of who owns which designs, etc. if you do not have an account, just let me know and i can give you a personal code to help you make your own account!

  • adopts/designs are to be paid for through paypal invoices unless otherwise stated (ex: if the design is an ota, dta, etc.)!!

  • please pay for your adopt/design within 48 hours. i sometimes do holds for adopts and i will state in the adopt post whether i will or will not for that specific design!! if i am not offering holds, please pay within 48 hours or else i will cancel the invoice, and the adopt will be resisted for sale.

  • designs bought from me may be resold, gifted, or traded. please do not resell the design for more than originally purchased unless it comes with additional artwork (by you or commissioned).

  • please notify me if you are thinking about reselling your adopt/design. i can help you promo the design for sale by sharing a post on social media (for example: on instagram i can share your post on my story)!!

  • if you obtained a character/design via trade, you may trade/gift that character or you may resell it but only for the worth of whatever you did for the trade (ex: if you did artwork and a character totaling $100 in worth, you may only sell it for $100)!

designing terms

  • you make edit a design from me as long as it's not too drastic and can still be recognized as the original.

  • i require you to still credit me for the original design!!

  • you cannot redesign the character/adopt into a new character and then sell the original without the redesign. that would be splitting the design into two and would be unfair to both me and the buyer!!

  • you may not change a closed species adopt/character design into a different species (existing or not).

  • please keep in mind that your quote for your specific commission may increase based on character design complexity (markings, wings, etc.)! i will not invoice you for your commission until i receive word that the quote/price given is within your budget.

  • if you want a commission shipped to you (ex: a badge) that will be an additional cost separate from the prices shown here!! you will be sent a separate (second) invoice for the shipping after the badge/item has been shipped that is expected to be paid in full promptly!! thank you.

  • if you would like to make your badge acrylic, please add $35 to your price. that is the upgrade fee and you will receive x2 copies of your badge in the mail!!

  • if you want to buy a single daki/body pillow please add $35 to your total. shipping is included in this!!

toyserval's turf custom enamel pin commissions
As I've gotten more experience in making enamel pins for my etsy store, I am interested in taking enamel pin commissions!! I have already done a few and would love to do more for people!! All the information for my pin commissions can be found below as well as a button to click, to see my current collection of custom pins!

different options for your pinsmetal plating color -
The metal plating will be the lines and the back of your pin! The default for my pins is the black nickel plating but I can do gold, rose gold, rainbow plating, silver, copper, etc.!size -
My pins are 1.5" big/tall but if you would like to make it bigger we can do that! Though it will increase the price of course!colors -
My pins come with up to 6 Pantone colors. If your character has more than 6 colors, your enamel pin commission will cost more!screenprinting -
Screenprinting is when a color is printed on top of the pin, instead of being an enamel color that has to be outlined (the metal plating). My pins come with 1 screenprinted color because as part of my pin style, I usually use that for the eyes underneath hair or for small markings, etc.!backings -
I have a few colors of rubber backings that I can offer for my pins! I do not suggest getting the metal backings because they are not as sturdy and your pin might get lost!These are the colors you can choose from for your backings:

the enamel pin process
1. I will give you your quote for your enamel pin commission! If it is within your budget, I will ask for a PayPal email for me to invoice! Once payment is sent, I will start on the artwork.
2. I will send WIPs as it is worked on. First the sketch, then lines, and then the colors. Of course I will fix any markings and/or colors as need be!
3. I will order the pins from my manufacturer! I will work with them on finalizing their official artwork for the pins and make sure the Pantone colors are correct, etc. Turnaround time for production is usually 1 - 1.5 months, after I approve the final artwork/colors for the pin.
4. I will receive the enamel pins in the mail and ship them to you! You may sell them or trade them as you wish! I just ask for credit as the maker/artist (toyserval).* I always update commissioners if there are any delays in production, shipping, etc.

50 pins - $305 ($6.10 per pin)
75 pins - $335 ($4.46 per pin)
100 pins - $350 ($3.50 per pin)
+ $35 for custom backing cards (I can draw you a custom backing card for your pins and assemble your pins with the cards myself! It will include credit to toyserval for the pin (a logo and/or text)!!* the pin prices include the physical pins as well as the pin artwork!

reselling and trading your toyserval pins
i allow customers/commissioners to resell and/or trade their custom pins as they wish!! You may sell them on an online store such as Etsy.Most enamel pins go for $8-15 depending on size, glitter, screenprinting, etc.! And many people list their pins as grades. Grade A pins are flawless, grade b pins have minor scratches/imperfections, and grade c pins are noticeably flawed (scratched, missing color, etc.)!Please credit me for having made the pin!! When listing your pins online for sale, please include my name (toyserval)! One correct way of titling your listing would be: toyserval 010 pin - character name!
